Tim Senior Pictures

I had a great time with Tim and his mom yesterday. Tim was not really looking forward to his photoshoot, but I think it ended up being a much better experience than he expected. I am so glad that he brought his bass and his "25 cent" white t-shirt. This former halloween costume was supposed to be his undershirt, but I thought it was cool and asked if we could do some pictures in it. I just love it!
I think we got some great shots and I'm thankful that Tim survived the session with me and his mom! Click on the link below for Tim's slideshow. Enjoy!

Hot Springs, AR

I had the pleasure of going to Hot Springs, AR last week for a photography class at the Delta School of Photography. We had a little time before class started on Sunday, so we walked down Bath House Row and took some pictures. We got to go inside the museum, which is what you see above. These bath houses pulled in water from the natural hot springs right behind them. The bath houses had individual rooms with bath tubs, showers, and steam chambers. We also walked to the rocks where the hot spring came out. The water really was hot! If you look closely, you can actually see some of the steam coming off the water.
The photography class was very intense since it was about one semester of college in 3.5 very long days. My brain still hurts! They had a trade show where I bought some really cool frames that you can order. You'll have to check out the square frame with space for one 12x12 and twelve 5x5 prints. It will be great for senior pictures as well as weddings and babies.

Clint and Amy Pre-Engagement Pictures

I guess I shouldn't call these pre-engagement pictures because Clint and Amy are already engaged. These are the pictures taken before the engagement pictures. I went with Clint and Amy on Saturday to check out their reception venue. It is so cool! I had my camera with me(where else would it be?), so I couldn't resist getting some shots overlooking downtown while they were looking so adorable. You must see the Terrace on Grand (www.terraceongrand.com). It's a brand new venue that's just opening in the next week or two. I also got to meet their caterer, Marilyn, of www.marilynsevents.com. She's got some amazing decorations!
Clint and Amy are a fun, young couple, and I can't wait to take their real engagement pictures later this spring and shoot their wedding this summer. Clint figured out very quickly that there is no such thing as "just a few pictures". We are going to have a blast!
Check out their slideshow for more images inside and out:
Enjoy!
